Data Deletion Instructions

What data we store
TransGem stores minimal user data:
- Account info: Your name, email, and profile picture from your authentication provider (Google, Facebook, or Twitter/X).
- Subscription status: Your current plan and expiration date (if applicable).
- Local data: Translation history and settings are stored only in your browser's local storage.
We do not store your translations, audio recordings, or API keys on our servers.
How to delete your data
Option 1: Delete local data
To clear your translation history and settings stored in your browser:
- Open TransGem in your browser.
- Go to History → Clear History.
- Or clear your browser's local storage for
transgem.online.
Option 2: Delete your account entirely
To request complete deletion of your account and all associated data from our servers:
- Send an email to support@transgem.online from the email address associated with your account.
- Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.
- We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.
Facebook data
If you signed in using Facebook, we receive your name, email, and profile picture. To remove this data:
- Follow the account deletion steps above.
- Additionally, you can remove TransGem from your Facebook account: go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → find TransGem → Remove.
